The only positive part was the Lobby, which is deceiving as the rest of the hotel is a dump. It was dirty with garbage overflowing at the entrances, including the water park area. This facility needs a lot of work. Not enough of staff to keep the big hotel clean. The management is cutting corners, to save pennies at the cost of cleanliness & good customer services.
Although the so called GM seems to live at hotel, but he is never available to care of guest issues. What a Puss_ !!

Bed BUGS in the room!! Dirty poorly Maintained Hotel.
Very poor management I would never return I was here on business so I do not know anything about the water park. However, my room was not that great. The door had a super hard time closing and had to be slammed shut each time. I had no desk chair and when I asked about it at the front desk the manager pretty much just blew me off and said they did not have anymore. The manager just seemed to not want to be bothered.
The water park was just three slides going into a pool and a splash pad. It was very expensive for what it was. Parents who were not participating still had to pay a $10 admission to watch their children. You would have to watch your children because the lifeguard was constantly on her phone rather than watching the pool. The hotel lobby is beautiful, however the rooms and hallways were not updated and they looked worn out. The complimentary breakfast was very nice, with lots of options.
The staff was rude and unaccommodating. But it is not the employees fault, they are doing what they are told by the management. Looks like the management has changed, the service is not the same like it was the last few years I have been coming to this hotel by my family.The new manager is never around to solve issues, and the front desk have to listen to the aggravated customers. We've stayed at a lot of choice hotels and this was by far the worst. Most of the equipment in the fitness room was broken. There was no internet. Half the games in the arcade were broken and they were super expensive to play. It's nice that there is a pool and little water park....however, there are no staff to monitor the slides. The hallways to the rooms look like there is water damage on the ceilings. The rooms need a major updating...and we stayed in the "newer" room. The carpets need replacing or at least a cleaning. The bathrooms didn't feel clean. The beds are way too small for two people to sleep in. Our door to our room would stick so you had to really push to get in. The breakfast was typical, but really was horrible, especially the eggs and sausage. Basically, for the price we paid...it just wasn't worth it.
I've been coming to this hotel for years now. I used to come here before it became the indoor water park and throughout all of these years I am still happy I go back. The staff are very friendly and the manager is very helpful. The rooms are clean and the hotel itself is well kept. The only suggestion I would have is to make the girls changing rooms and boys changing room more separate when entering the park.
DIRTY & POORLY MAINTAINED HOTEL- GOING DOWN
The hotel was a BIG disappointment. My body was covered with Bed Bug bites when I woke up in the morning. I will never stay at this dump. This hotel is a Disgrace to Choice Hotels, and corporate needs to take action to save its image. Shut or de-flag this hotel. I don’t have enough words to describe this disgusting hotel.
This hotel was a disappointment. It just got renovated 3 years back and It is already worn and dirty. Most of the equipment in the fitness room was broken ad dirty. There was no internet available during our stay. Half the games in the arcade were broken and they were super expensive to play. Quick suggestion, if you can't fix it get rid of it, but don't display broken machines to fill the room. I have been coming to this hotel since it has been renovated, but this was the worst experience I have ever had, looks like management has changed and the new management does not have a clue and don't care about the hotel, what a pity.
