My father called around. He got in touch with James, who shipped the parts overnight before I even committed to him. I was hesitant at first, because of his reluctance to quote a price. But James justified it eloquently (it’s unreasonable to quote a price without first seeing and diagnosing the car) and he did not disappoint.
I took my BMW here because a friend has been going to Precision for years and talked so highly of this repair shop. I called the shop, set an appointment with James who was so nice on the phone and extremely polite. When I arrived at my appointment, I was greeted warmly by James, he verified my concerns and took my vehicle in right away. I was then greeted by Jennifer who offered me a cup of coffee and I was able to sit and watch the news while my car was being fixed. Little did I know that this was an easy fix and James and his team had me back on the road in no time. For repairs by a trustworthy, competent and efficient auto team, I'd go here in a heartbeat and you should too!
James had one of his colleagues drive me to the Basketball Hall of Fame to kill the few hours it took him and the team to fix my car. How about that? What could have been a disastrous day of bus tickets to/from Springfield turned into a day of shooting hoops.
I was driving up to Amherst when my 2002 Audi TT died on the highway. I had it towed to the nearest Audi shop who quoted me $1,400 for a broken alternator and saying it would take 3 or more days to fix. I was left stranded, hours from home with a flight to catch the next day.

It's very hard to find an honest mechanic around. I brought my 2012 Ford Fusion into Precision Auto Repair, I was having a grinding noise in my front breaks and my heat wasn't working. I went in without an appointment and James took my vehicle in to take a look right away. After a short time, James told me exactly what my issue was and got straight to the point without pressuring me to purchase other services. I went forward with the repair and couldn't be happier. I will definitely be back, and will recommend this shop to all of my family and friends. They have FREE WI-FI and the lobby looks like a living room, nicest repair shop I have ever been to.
