There are 3 membership types: "Basic," "Plus," and "Premier." I've experienced firsthand that "Plus" is perfect, due to generous towing benefits. I was told by a AAA representative that "Plus" is, by far, the most popular. "Premier" is expensive. Unless you're traveling the world on a regular basis, you don't need it. It's less about car emergencies, and more about travel discounts.
That stated, this location has an indoor travel-related store. Everything from neck-pillows to kids' games for long trips, to sturdy luggage, this little place has it all. They have striking handbags, as well. Sometimes at a discounted price already, especially during seasonal changes, in addition to your AAA discount, these attractive, useful products are quite reasonable.
You need an agent who knows the ins and outs of this business; these are your allies who know an array of deductions, the way in which to keep your bill down in myriad ways. After experiencing her expertise, I will *never* deal directly with an insurance agent. ((Thank you!))❤⚡
My battery died while I was at the Red Cross in Springfield. Richard from Triple A was at the site within 15 minutes, and spent at least half an hour cleaning and testing my battery. He made no sales pitch, and took the time to explain what he was doing. He is a great representation of AAA and it is this type of service that reminds me the annual fee is nothing compared to the peace of mind I have with my membership. Thanks Richard and AAA.

AAA Store, W.Springfield is the place to go. The staff are very helpful, from assisting with travel plans to helping with vehicle renewal registrations and license. The Roadside Assistance service providers have also been prompt and courteous.
Been a member for nearly twenty years. Every time I have needed them they were there for me. Well worth the money to join.
