I went there and brought $300 worth of groceries. I thought I went over so I put some stuff back. The cashier moved it to the side I asked him to please keep it there until I was done paying for the food I had on the belt. But he ended up sending my cart of extra food to the back of the store. So after I was done paying I realize I did forget something and the other cart that he sent back. So I told him hey I think I forgot something in that car you sent back. He said oh I'm sorry just go in the back of the store and see if you can find it if so get what you need come back to my line and I will check you out. So I did just that and the mist I couldn't help but notice someone was watching me. The young lady watched me walk all the way to the back of the store. Then she watch me walk back towards the front of the store. On my way towards the front she stopped me and ask me for my receipt. I asked you why she said because from the direction I came from it looked like I was stealing something. Which was absolutely ridiculous being the fact she watched me walk all the way to the back. And back towards the front of the store. I love shopping at Price Rite their food is fresh and their prices are affordable. But as far as some of the employees very unprofessional and I don't believe I will be going to this one anymore.
Price Rite is an amazingly affordable grocery store staffed by kind, friendly people. They carry incredible produce. The bananas are the best around and they're .49/lb. They offer an extensive line of "Goya" products. The PR version of "Honey Bunches of Oats" is exponentially better than the name brand, and it's $1.89.
Lines tend to be very long so it takes forever to check out, they definitely could use a few more cashiers.
It is my preferred grocery store. Prices are the most economical of any other. The produce and fruits are very fresh. The groceries are well stocked. The staff is well trained and very helpful. There is plenty of parking and ample handicapped parking. Overall it is outstanding.
This store has great produce and those prices usually can't be beat. They are very attentive to the produce department so it always looks good.
The paper products/cleaning aisle is filled with values; strong paper towels for less than a dollar, good laundry detergent that rivals the dollar stores. Try "Method" multipurpose, non-toxic cleaner for less than $3.
Lately, weekends have been full-on chaos, so shore up. Bring a coffee with you. Maybe plug in your earphones. Have a list. If you go to their Website, you can sign up to get specials texted to you. You can also browse your "home store's" value items.
While I'm pouring cereal in my imagination, let me advise you to check the expiration dates on all dairy, especially milk. Sometimes the date on the carton is the date you're looking at it, or afterward. Huge pet peeve. I will say, it's gotten much better.
Everyday groceries always have very good prices.
Price Rite doesn't bag your groceries, so bring your own bags. If you forget, no worries. You can buy plastic grocery bags for .13.
Looks like it has great prices. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My family shops here often and says the prices are always great.
But if you're looking for decent quality at a good price, you can't beat Price Rite.
