I've been shopping at the West Springfield store since it opened. Very picky on the trade ins. Which is fine. I do see clothes in the store with holes ( size 3 sleepwear ) or worn . Not my main complaint due to everyone's human and can miss things . Plus I'm not forced to buy these items. My issues are 1) some employees are not friendly. More rude and arrogant 2) when the person checking a toy for trade in does not know how to operate it the person will label it broken. Then when shown it works every excuse in the book to back up it's broken . A simple not interested or at least ask the person how it works would do. 3) this is the one that breaks me. I buy and trade in the store at least once a month. Friday I started to stock up on warm sleepwear for the winter seeing my son went from 2 t to 3 t clothes. I bought a pile of clothes and sleepers. Sat night I took the tag off and put a pair on my son. As I went to zip them I noticed the zipper handle was missing. So on Sunday I went to exchange this item. I had my receipt and was well within 7 days as told at the point of sale and I believe worded on the receipt. When greeted by the younger manager he told me he can't exchange it because without the tag there's no proof I bought it from his store. I had the receipt, the item, and was helped by him on Friday. However there's no proof. All I'm told is receipt and 7 days. Nothing about save the tag. It's fine. I didn't fight just left the item and the receipt. Keep it. You need it more then I do. Wasn't the first problem I've had. Shame on me for keep going back. I'll shop elsewhere. Thank you for the discounts and deals that were successful at least. Great place to shop just needs to get the terms clear and not be so rude.
I'm not sure what people are expecting from this store when they write their 1-star review because the prices are too high or they choose not to buy everything from them, but I love this store. The staff is amazing and the prices can't be beat! Sure, they don't buy everything I bring in, but they have always been fair and explain why they don't. I won't say I always agree, but I don't have to sell it to them and they don't have to buy it! Thanks for helping to make raising kids more affordable!
Update: Just went back again and I think I'm addicted. Thanks for allowing me to sell some items I don't need and turn that right back around and buy the stuff i need for my kids at a great deal!
Hit or miss selection so far but our daughter is only 7 months old. We also sold some clothes and a swing to the store and we're happy with what we were offered for the items.
Amazing store. Just left the store with a bagful of pristine clothing at a fraction of what I would pay anywhere else. The staff was friendly and helpful. The store is well organized and clean. Free organic lollipops for my son. I'll be back! Thanks for amazing sales!
